Deb Farnworth-Wood

I'm most well known for being the founder of the Australian Skin Clinic Franchise which I sold in 2019 and I have worked in the Aesthetics industry since 2007. Prior to that, I had worked for 18 years in the UK health sector where became the first non-doctor to be a partner in a UK medical practice, opened the UK's first drive-through pharmacy and developed many new care pathways with my doctor partners. I moved to Australia with my family in 2007, with the idea of early retirement, only to build a $70m international medi-aesthetic business.
After selling ASC in 2019, I retained the original ASC Clinic in Ashmore on the Gold Coast which is now called theUltimate Skin and Body Clinicand in 2020 I bought the Issada Mineral makeup brand from my god friend Fiona, and launched Issada Clinical Formula Skincare which was a project I had worked on with my son Jacques for a couple of years. I still ownultimate Skin & Bodywhich is where we test our products along side our advanced aesthetic treatments.

I have been a professional makeup artist and educator for over 14 years with experience in bridal, fashion, film, editorial, glamour and special occasion makeup. My drive and passion is in training and I absolutely adore educating all our ISSADA stockists and teams on our unparalleled makeup range and the benefits of minerals. I aim to give everyone I work with confidence and knowledge in applying makeup using the techniques of makeup artists. 

JACQUES FARNWORTH-WOOD

Manufacturing Specialist
Following a range of roles in aesthetic and beauty businesses, including Australian Skin Clinics, The Advanced Skills Academy, Valor Organics and Ultimate Skin and Body Clinic, I began working in research and development. I am passionate about effective, high-performance formulas and products that provide exceptional function and experience for the consumer.

My makeup career began more than 20 years ago, in major Department stores and pharmacies throughout Queensland. I have been a Makeup Artist at our Issada Studio, for 5 years. It is a beautiful, uplifting environment space to be and we have many beautiful clients who love having their makeup applied for their special occasions in life. I love bringing out the best in people and feel genuinely happy to see the sparkle in their eye and the swish of the hair as they step out the door!

I’ve been a makeup artist for about 4 years. I love how creative you can be with makeup, if you want to cover your face in glitter, you can cover your face in glitter - the sky is the limit. The industry is always changing and new trends are surfacing, I love how it challenges me constantly by trying to learn new techniques and skills.
